About the "Mexican Portfolio"
My first trip to Mexico was a one week vacation in Puerto Vallarta in 2000.
I was fascinated and intrigued by the country. I have always enjoyed traveling and
have not been so excited since I traveled to Europe in the 70's. The one week in Puerto Vallarta was a great experience for me and I photographed all I could. Upon returning home, I reviewed my slides and decided that I must return to photograph in more detail.
I returned to Mexico in 2001 and stayed for 3 months. During my stay I made
many friends and met several people, some of whom I still stay in contact with.
I traveled to Guadalajara, Leon, Puerto Vallarta, San Miguel De Allende and Guanajuato.
I loved the people and country and had a wonderful experience living and photographing there. I plan to return in the near future.
